Geared towards the cycling crowd but welcoming to all, the owner of Musette Caffe has curated a cool and retro space mixing beautiful antique furniture with cycling paraphernalia and elements of fun. A Foosball table sits waiting in the corner adding a hint of the Italian underpinnings of the race culture. The decor serendipitously coordinates with the house choice of 49th Parallel teal coffee items. Carefully crafted lattes are brewed on the LaMarzocco machine or drip coffee prepared by the cup.
I expect Musette to become a new favourite of many who visit. The staff and fellow guests were equally warm and friendly. There wasn’t a customer I didn’t have a friendly exchange with. Only six weeks in and Musette has rolled in smoothly and become an instant classic, much like the vintage Bianchi hanging from wall-mounted antlers.
I suggest you ride over on two wheels, park your bike inside, enjoy a traditional drip, and pick up one of their delicious home-made energy bars to power you on the way home.
Open most days until 6pm.
