Hidden behind a revamped, but still functioning Pawn Shop is one of the Lower East Side’s hottest new nightspots. There isn’t much on the block surrounding this hip supper club/lounge, but it still attracts the well-dressed hip-set to step through the green glow of aggressively priced vintage guitars, Biggie Smalls action figures and once-loved costume jewelry. The unique items behind the glass serve more as a brief museum experience than things you may actually plunk down your cash for, but word is they do sell a lot of collectables (I’m guessing as people leave as opposed to coming in :).
Being a popular spot-of-the-moment means a table is hard to come by without a reservation so Sunshine and I headed upstairs to the bar/lounge and took in the scene from the view at the bar.
By the decor you wouldn’t know how long this joint has been open, but the vibe is very modern and we quietly enjoyed some of their food fare amidst the vibrant music and night scene.
We tried the brown butter ravioli, a fantastic lobster penne mac & cheese and a side of specially seasoned brussel sprouts.
A meal at the bar may not be the best way to enjoy this cool multi-level, multi-room spot, but it also leaves us a reason to come back with friends and do it up the way a funky place like this was meant to be experienced.

I love this restaurant! More importantly, the vibe and food is all so delicious. A must have is their Lobster Pizzetta and the Kale and Apple salad.
