this is fantastic light… i have to ask, do you use a diffuser at all? all your photos have such a lovely soft look, everyone’s skin is flawless.
i came across this site recently (you photographed a friend of mine!) and am quite loving the expose on our city’s style. vancouver has always been a creative city full of fashion-personality and it’s not given due credit!

Hi. Thank you for the compliment. This is actually without any diffusion. I shoot wide open at f1.4 using natural light. This really softens the details and helps with the overall ‘glow’ that gives my photos their feel. I have a few other personal techniques that give them a certain quality, but I’ll keep those in my creative pocket for now. :)
